Can Digital Pen Technology Satisfy Traditional Artists?
Jesse Jones, at award winning King5-TV decided to put our Digital Scribe to the test with a local traditional artist, Patrick Kerr, for whom accuracy is very important.
The Digital Pen was tested in two situations: 1) Mr. Kerr created some artwork on a piece of paper and then uploaded it to the computer later and 2) he then created a drawing while the device was connected to the computer in real-time.
His response? “This is awesome! This is Great! An Excellent Drawing Tool.” You can view the test here now.
How do you see yourself using this technology?

I’ve been drawing since I was a little kid and I grew up with a pencil but now, for the past year or so, I’ve been using a whole range of tablets and drawing pens. It makes creating art so much more easier, especially when you are dealing with messy materials such as paint.

if you can just reduce or produce different sizes of it it will be much easier for artist to choose on there convenience.

The Mobile Digital Scribe does allow you change pen widths when connected via usb to the PC. When not connected and mobile the pen width is based upon how you write. I hope I helped to answer your question.

I have seen the following product with some sellers:
IOGEAR GPEN200N-SP1 MOBILE DIGITAL SCRIBE
Non of the sellers posted the image of this product. They have not given a detailed specification either. The product is expensive than GPEN200N also. How is this product different from GPEN200N?
Thank you.

Hello Ullas,
The SKU GPEN200N-SP1 is not valid. In general, if you can not find the SKU by searching our site, it is not a SKU generated by IOGEAR. Please let us know if you have further questions.
