CORRECTION… The HP Mini does come with all the features mentioned above:solid state drive (16GB), webcam, and 3g. I can’t even trust the rest of the information or this site because they were either too lazy to visit hpshopping.com or too biased to care.

You did not mention the ASAS 1000 netbooks, particularly the HE. They outperform all of the above, easily, and have 9.5 hours of battery life.

My guess is that the Acer Aspire One will win again in 2009.

HP has a great design but as you pointed out, the lack of features, smaller hard drive and higher price tag drives away buyers.

Keep an eye for the upcoming AMD Athlon though and then the dual-core Atom. That might just change things quite a bit!
