Why did the connection links to cellular telephone modems get shelved in favor of USB cable? The communication link is secure, not like WIFI that can be pirated by any astute hacker in a coffee shop or in an airport terminal. My new 3G wireless cellular telephone modem does not have Infrared as my previous telephone had. What is happening with Infrared?
