We have expanded our retail presence recently with news that Target will begin selling our Bluetooth 2.1 USB Micro Adapter, 12-in-1 Pocket Card Reader/Writer and 3-Port USB 2.0 Mobile Hub. Beginning 2010 we will be testing 2 new additional SKU in 100+ stores that will shortly be announced once accepted for a full roll out later in the year.


As retail forecasts for the holidays are looking leaner, we are expanding IOGEAR’s availability with our latest move to Target retail stores. IOGEAR has already established itself with regional retail outlets such as Fry’s and Micro Center and made a splash this summer with the national retail market placing new innovative products in Best Buy and maintaining product placement in Wal-Mart stores.

With the current economic outlook we recognize that consumers are looking for great value and quality in the products they purchase. At IOGEAR we have had great momentum into the tough retail market and continue to do so as we head into another holiday shopping season.

We’re also going to be showing off our new HDMI Control Center. The HDMI Control Center gives users the power to control, watch, navigate, switch and interact with various HDMI devices and computers on an HDTV. We’ll share more news on this product next week.

IOGEAR recently launched a Web page dedicated to consumers looking for a solution to control and work on two separate PCs – with one being a laptop, or netbook – at the same time through one screen, keyboard and mouse.

We have some exciting news to share with you. IOGEAR is a finalist for the TechAmerica Orange County High-Tech Awards in both the Outstanding Product / Technology and the Outstanding Woman in Technology Awards.

Hi IOGEAR fans!

We’re back from CES, and what a show it was! From Web / 3D TVs, to green technologies, to netbooks, a slew of new products and technologies were showcased in Las Vegas last week.

IOGEAR was there as well, highlighting our new contributions to the A/V, gaming, home entertainment and graphics design spaces.

Gaming is set to continue in full force this year. According to NPD Group, the video game industry experienced a 9% increase in US sales during December 2008, and 2008 purchases of games, consoles and accessories grew 19% to $21.33 billion from $17.98 billion in 2007.

In addition, the gap between the Internet and TV is expected to further decrease as Americans continue to rely on their PCs and televisions for home entertainment.

Convergence is a key theme for 2009 and IOGEAR will be doing its part.
