GSR201 Smart Card Read Issues

1. Driver Issue
   1. This device (GSR201) is plug and play for most of the fully installed Windows OS, or Mac OS 10.4 or later.  Just plug the Smart Card Reader to the USB port on the computer, it will be detected by the computer and the driver will be installed automatically. If Windows does not locate the appropriate driver, please go to the IOGEAR website to download the driver. http://www.iogear.com/support/dm/driver/GSR201#display
2. Certificate Issue

3. Mac Support Issue
   1. There are two type of cards and you can tell it from the back of the card. Either a Gemalto TOP DL GX4 144 or Oberthur ID One 128 v5.5 Dual. If you are using a Oberthur ID One 128 v5.5 Dual CAC, there is no current fix from the Mac OS Force.org people.
   2. In general, it depends on which version of Mac OS X is being using. If it is 10.6.6 it should work fine, but if you have a 144 CAC, they will need the CAC-NG file.  http://www.militarycac.com/MAC/CAC-NG-v0.95-beta-snow.zip
