IOGEAR Sheds Light on Portable Computing~ Introduces mobile, adjustable USB light for laptop computers [10-07-2003]
IOGEAR has expanded its accessory line with the introduction of its USB Flex Light, illuminating computer keyboards with up to eight power-efficient light emitting diode (LED) lights. The new device features a power on/off switch and is mounted on a flexible cable that can bend to nearly any position.
IOGEAR’s Flex Light plugs into any PC or Mac USB port and uses eight LEDs for precision illumination, without the heat of standard lights. Users are able to select low or high brightness for maximum control, covering just the area that needs to be lit. The Flex Light is USB-powered, eliminating the need for batteries and is USB 1.1 and 2.0 compatible. The Flex Light is priced at $19.95 (MSRP), and is available immediately from all major catalog resellers, online resellers and selected retail outlets.
