Irvine, CA – February 8, 2006 – IOGEAR today launched its palm-sized USB Multi-Function Print Server, which allows all networked PCs in SOHO (small office, home office) and SMB (small, medium sized businesses) environments to access one
multi-function USB printer to print, fax or scan documents.
Unlike most products currently available on the market, this device supports two-way communication with a printer, providing real-time updates on ink or toner levels and progress reports on sending and receiving faxes. By connecting the print server to a wireless router, it immediately becomes a Wide Local Area Network (WLAN) unit, enabling wireless communication with all computers on the network.
Additionally, Web-based management software makes printer management fast and easy, enabling users to configure and reset the print server and monitor networked multi-function printers through a Web browser.
