IOGEAR has simplified how consumers transport and share digital information with its 6-in-1 Memory Bank, a Hi-Speed USB 2.0 memory card reader/writer.
IOGEAR’s reader/writer allows users to easily transport digital images and files between desktop PCs and portable devices such as digital cameras, personal digital assistants (PDAs) and handheld PCs. The product enables digital images and data to be quickly downloaded from several different media types, including CompactFlash (CF), MultiMedia Card (MMC), Secure Digital Card (SD), Micro Drive, SmartMedia, Memory Stick and eXtreme Digital (XD) with CompactFlash Adapter.
At a speed of 3.5 Megabytes per second, the 6-in-1 card reader transfers files four times faster than standard digital camera connections. The small PC and Mac compatible memory card reader is priced at $69.95 (MSRP) and is available immediately from all major catalog resellers, online resellers and selected retail outlets.
Specifically designed for digital cameras, the card can also be used with palmtop PCs, handheld PCs, PDAs, voice recorders and other mobile electronics. 6-in-1 Memory Bank is backward compatible with USB 1.1 specifications.
